Providing clean, hygienic, and safe environments at Chichester College Group for five more years

Following over 20 years of partnership, Nviro have been awarded the contract for cleaning and hygiene services for a further five years, with the option to extend for another two.

The largest provider of further education in Sussex, the College Group is comprised of five colleges – Chichester, Brinsbury, Crawley, Haywards Heath, and Worthing – as well as nurseries and childcare facilities.
The partnership between Nviro and Chichester College began over 20 years ago in 1999, and the contract has now grown to an annual value of £1.3 million per annum. As the incumbent provider at four of the five colleges, Nviro will add Worthing College to the portfolio and welcome 16 new staff via TUPE transfer.
Nviro’s retention of Chichester College Group will keep the college at the forefront of innovative practice over the next five years. With their needs in mind, Nviro will align the operational model across all five colleges and deploy over £120,000 in leading equipment, including pioneering QR code technology to add value and manage the output specification. This is the first pilot contract for this new software as Nviro lead the way in innovative service management. Digital processes enable easier management of the service, reducing time spent on administration so contract management can focus on what they do best – looking after their customers.
The College Group sought to find a partner with shared values and aims, with a capability to deliver exceptionally high standards to match their outstanding educational offer. In Nviro, they have a provider that will work with them in partnership to support the demands of the educational timetable, with green credentials to meet their environmental objectives, a tacit understanding of the estate, and a provider at the forefront of cleaning, hygiene, and monitoring practices.
