“Nviro has held the cleaning contract for the University for the last six years and have always been a responsive and proactive partner. This no more so than the last 18 months of the Covid-19 pandemic when the need for cleaning, sanitation and hygiene has taken the forefront on the world stage and for us an institution with multiple buildings used by thousands on a daily basis.
Right from the start of the pandemic Nviro engaged with us to implement comprehensive and enhanced Covid-19 cleaning regimes from visible touch point cleaning of high traffic areas to increased desk and workstation sanitation, toilet cleaning and bin emptying to hospital standard cleaning of our Covid-19 Test centres. This all lead to the University student, staff and visitor community feeling a sense of safety and security during the unprecedented times.
Of particular value was Nviro contract management being forefront in the changing cleaning technologies and their enthusiasm in sharing new cost saving advances with us for example the use of spray technologies which were implanted in the onsite nursery which was identified as an extremely high risk Covid transmission area. Reviewing their contract proposal, I noted the emphasis they placed on looking after their people so they looked after their clients, whilst supporting them with the latest innovative equipment and training.
Nviro took “The Baton” from the outgoing contractor in June 2017 and they have not dropped it yet, on the contrary they are going for GOLD and present indications are they will achieve their aim. Picking up a contract during a deep clean period is not an easy task but teething problems were minor and far outweighed by some early major wins, in particular the deployment of the Sky-Vac to clean the atrium.”
