Keeping communities safe
Throughout the pandemic, they went above and beyond in supporting our partnership, while fulfilling their mission of keeping communities safe. Mobilising the service and improving hygiene standards by incorporating touchpoint cleaning, sourcing additional PPE, tracking sickness levels using ATP testing and applying antimicrobial coatings to protect the estate, reducing sickness rates with both employees and police.
Working in partnership with Hampshire Constabulary
The service required by our partner Hampshire Police is intensive. The scope includes routine building cleaning, 24/7 Police Investigation Centres, training facilities, custody cell cleaning, and victim examination suites. In addition to this Nviro provide a call-out service to deliver crime scene cleaning and vehicle decontamination.
The Police are deemed critical national infrastructure – meaning that despite a stay-at-home order, the entire estate remained business as usual. But it was not business as usual: ensuring that sickness levels were mitigated, and risk of infection controlled was of paramount importance to provide an uninterrupted service. The force could not afford to have officers self-isolating or quarantining, so required close support from our partnership to fulfil their mission of keeping communities safe.
